YAGER with LAILA
Questions and Answers

What is the Yagerian method?

The official term for it is 'Yagerian therapy' (originally Subliminal therapy). It comes out of the hypnotherapeutic tradition, yet is a lone standing method that was developed by the clinical psychologist Dr. Edwin K. Yager.

Dr. Yager offered this technique for 40 years in his practice in San Diego, California until his death in 2019. He also founded the "Subliminal Therapy Institute" to promote the technique worldwide. In recent years, it became well known mainly in Latin America and Germany and is now spreading globally.

How does it work?

Drawing on a part of the mind that is called 'Centrum', the method helps to gently and effectively re-educate the subconscious mind to resolve the root cause of an emotional or psychogenic problem; without the need to talk about or analyse it on a conscious level.

The 'Centrum' is a faculty of the mind that we all possess, yet are usually unaware of.
Unlike our consious mind, it is capable of communicating with all parts of the mind and it also regulates the smooth muscle functions necessary to our survival. As such, it is an ordering authority for our minds and bodies and a powerful ally when it comes to making changes to our mental fabric and therefore our whole being in the world.

What outcomes can I expect?

Working with your Centrum means educating parts of your unsconscious mind to identify harmful or hindering lessons of past life experiences and to re-evaluate them with the more mature perspectives of today's understanding. By updating those lessons, parts of your mind that were intially creating or maintaining a 'problem' learn to instead support your present life aims. They stop repeating the same old responses, enabling you to make new choices and assessments. This enables profound changes in your mental habits, thought-patterns, and emotional states.
Centrum works always to your highest good. It does not erase any memories nor does it bring up traumatic memories from the past if this is not conducive to the healing process and consciously wanted by you. The work happens in your sub-consciousness, with mannifold, beautiful and surprising effects to your mental and physical well-being.
As such it is a gentle, yet powerful method to make profound changes to your life, and become the person you really are.

How many sessions do I need?

Since Centrum directly starts to change parts of your sub-conscious mind when we begin the work, the shift begins with the very first session and you can expect to already notice first changes in the days and weeks afterwards.
Depending on your topic and its scope, an issue can usually be solved in 3-6 sessions. Deeper seated topics might take 8-10 sessions or more, depending on your personal circumstances.
